Friday Night Founders’ Reception:  From 6:00-10:00 PM in the Whitney Room at the AmericInn, located at 1406 Lyon St. (take the Lyon St. exit off Hwy 23, between 19 & 59).  Drinks and appetizers provided.  This has been provided by founding family members.  Everyone, local and out-of-towner, is invited to stop in for socializing and refreshments.

Saturday Picnic: At the South Shelter at Camden State Park (NOTE:  New Location in Camden State Park) Catered picnic meal served at 12:00-1:00PM. Pictures taken at 1:15, so bring your camera.  Snacks and treats are pot luck, so please bring some to share.  Activities include swimming at the lake. A $3 per car Camden Park group entry fee is available if you tell attendant you are with our party. Pictures will be taken at 2:00 PM so bring your camera!

RAIN BACK-UP PLAN:  Meet instead at the Lynd Public School in Lynd

Saturday night Party:  Starts at 6:00PM at Prairie Center at 1507 E. College Drive in Marshall MN. Pizza will be served at 6:00 PM. Activities include a Hoversten "Game Show", a Martha ans Elias photo show and a DJ for music and dancing from 8- 11:00 PM. No host bar and soft drinks.

Sunday Church & Lunch:  The family will be providing a worship service at Hemnes at 10:00AM.  Anyone wanting to sing in the choir please come at 9:00AM.  More visiting and lunch downstairs after the service.

COST FOR FOOD:  People will be paying according to which meals and how many in their family are eating.  Please fill in the number of meals for each day on the registration form included.  Price is per plate, with no charge for children 7 years and under. The price breakdown is as follows:

                                    Friday night social—-provided

                                    Saturday picnic lunch—-$8.00

                                    Saturday night pizza supper & DJ—-$15.00 per family

                                    Sunday lunch—-$5.00

***Everyone is responsible for their own lodging.  Here is a listing of the lodgings in the area for you to reserve rooms.  IMPORTANT:  We suggest you reserve soon, since there are weddings that weekend, and some of the hotels are already full.

            *these hotels have blocks of rooms reserved for our reunion, BUT are only being held for us until June 18th.  Please let the hotel know you are with the Hoversten Reunion when you call to reserve.

Camping

            Camping is available at the Camden State Park with fees as follows:

                        $19.00 with electricity—-$15.00 without electricity

            Campers—reserve your own space by calling 866-857-2757

Additional information:

            This information is being sent to children and grandchildren.  They are responsible for passing this information on to the great-grandchildren.  Some additional registration forms are included. 

            Also, volunteers are needed for set-up and clean-up of the Saturday picnic. If interested, please call Illa at 507-532-4924.

PLEASE return the registration form with your check by JUNE 1, 2009, so the committee can plan the food and activities correctly.  Checks should  be made out to and sent (with forms) to:
